A street parade in Bowral will be held on 2 December 2023 at 7.00 pm to honour and celebrate the unsung Southern Highland heroes who serve us. First Responders, Frontline Workers, Service Organisations, Volunteers. Our Angels.
Escorting these remarkable people along Bong Bong Street will be 250 children dressed as angels who will give small messages of joy to spectators along the parade. The parade will conclude with a concert in Corbett Gardens.
Participants in the Angels in Our Town Parade to date include:
- Fire brigade members and fire truck
- Police-on foot
- Police car
- Mounted Police
- State Emergency Services and SES truck
- Rural Fire Services and fire truck
- Paramedics
- Red Cross
- Lions Club
- Country Women’s Association
- OZ Harvest
- Medical Workers
- Teachers
- Volunteers-small groups and individuals and more…
Let’s line up along Bong Bong Street, Bowral, to show our support and gratitude to these dedicated volunteers and first responders who make a positive impact on the lives of those in need in our community.
The street parade will conclude with a wonderful concert in Corbett Gardens.
